“WINK is a platform for fashion based on a passion for the ocean, a recognition of nature’s incredible beauty and the need to maintain it.” The Wink team approached C7 with a challenge. They wanted to create branding, package design and a website that reflected this love of fashion and the ocean. The concept was new and there were no previous brand guidelines to adhere to and follow. One key note only, was that because all the artwork was original, we had to keep that free-flowing organic styling.
SOLUTION:
Working very closely with our client we had a series of creative meetings where we flushed out the essence and personality of the brand. We wanted to capture the clients vision, not force feed them ours.
We listened, asked questions and listened some more. It was clear that the Wink team had a wonderful perspective on what they wanted. After more discussion and many concepts we got to work on final designs and began developing the online platform.
Because this series of projects included both online and offline initiatives, we pulled on the entire C7 team. Designers, developers, strategists and coders. It was an all out blitz of fun and fashion! The end results could be seen on the faces of everyone involved. Big smiles and nodding heads. It was a win. What a fun project this was.
