CHALLENGE
Gas Drop found a gap in the delivery space. They discovered that it’s easy enough to order food, big box store items and even cars by app but you couldn’t get your car or boat fuel delivered. It was at this moment the idea of Gas Drop was born.
Now that the concept was in play, Gas Drop needed a clean new brand, website and of course, an app. These key elements were the core elements needed to deliver this dream to fuel hungry customers everywhere.
SOLUTION
We started this journey with Gas Drop by carefully mapping out the three key initiatives of branding, website and app.
The branding needed to be clean and simple. As an app, 90% of the logo viewership would be at very small, thumbnail sizes. Our design team crafted the logo, colors and styling… and the client loved it. The branding was locked down and everyone was happy.
Next, we wrapped the brand styling around the website design and shifted quickly to the main component of Gas Drop, the app.
We started with the two core components of this app. First, the customer facing app and second, the business side of the app used by delivery drivers and admin staffers. Our technical and creative teams worked closely with the Gas Drop team to map out the clicks, swipes and process at the core of this innovative idea.
Once wireframing was complete we got to work on coding. The app required a close integration of location services, AI and mapping technology. In addition, there were compliance issues to work around. It took some serious hours and a lot of brainstorming but in the end, innovation prevailed. It seems that filling our C7 tanks with great ideas and innovation proved to be the greatest delivery of all.
